Singapore’s nightlife scene has enough of a buzz to thrill even the most seasoned of party goers. From rooftop bars and nightclubs to hawker centers and street markets, there's something for everyone, whether you’re an extrovert or an introvert - yes, we have you in mind as well, dear ones! Here are just a few places to consider should you want to drop by our gorgeous city state and experience nightlife activities in Singapore.

1) Club Street and Ann Siang Hill

Club Street and Ann Siang Hill are trendy and vibrant areas located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Singapore. It's known for its colorful shophouses and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The street is lined with a variety of bars, restaurants, and cafes, making it a great spot for dining and socializing.

In particular, Club Street is synonymous with Singapore’s nightlife scene. There are a number of bars and nightclubs located in the area, ranging from casual watering holes to high-end cocktail bars. Some of the popular bars on Club Street include Club Street Social, Gem Bar, and Lucha Loco.

It’s near several quaint boutique shops, art galleries, and antique stores as well as several historic landmarks such as the Sri Mariamman Temple and the Chinatown Heritage Centre.

City Tours Tip: Places such as the Temple and the Heritage Centre are easily accessible via our FunVee bus, so hop on / hop off whenever you like! Our FunVee buses run in the evenings as well, so there’ll always be places to see and go!

2) Clarke Quay / Boat Quay

These two places are the place to be for a fun night out with the besties. With a variety of bars, clubs, and restaurants, there is always something to do here. You can dance the night away at Zouk, sip on a cocktail at Attica, or enjoy some live music at Crazy Elephant.

City Tours Tip: Fancy something a little quieter? Take a 40-minute leisurely cruise on one of the river cruises to enjoy the view of the city from your boat. This is probably one of the best ways to experience nightlife activities in Singapore - floating gently down the river and watching the city as you drift by.

3) Iconic Singapore Landmarks

Now this is something for the introverts, we think! Step away from the busy and bustling streets and enjoy a view of the city from the comforts of your own seat! The pick up is at Marina Square, so you can always engage in some shopping therapy and food before boarding the bus. As the sun sets, the view of the city from the open top bus hits differently! Soak in the gorgeous rays of the setting sun and watch iconic landmarks such as Chinatown, Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion light up against the darkening skies. Phwoarrr!

4) Arab Street

If you’re in town during Ramadan, then you’re in luck. In addition to the vibrant and colorful neighborhood that is home to many hotspots such as bars and cafes, you’ll also be treated to the smells of freshly cooked food at their outdoor bazaars! Hang out with the locals as festive music permeates the night air as well as listen to the soothing prayers being conducted in the Sultan Mosque nearby. Watch out for the light shows at 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm!

City Tours Tip: Easiest way to head here is to drop off at Bugis MRT or at Ophir Road on our FunVee bus.

While this is certainly not a complete list of ways to enjoy nightlife activities in Singapore, it’s certainly enough for anyone to dip their toe into and party the night away solo or with friends. So. What’s your pick?
